My work’s composed by many inspired of disparate thing that surrounding in our daily. As a potter, I have unquenchable with curiosity about what can I create with the material. The works I choose to make often are directly connected to our daily use. I attempt to use different thickness of lines quality creating with slip to bring in a unique surface and space within the work. 

 

My intention is to draw attention to a vital element of everyday life. The form and surface I use are inspired by contemporary ceramics as well as historical reference and I have been always interested in traditional Japanese ceramics culture. The history of different cultures and the contemporary base of ceramics has provide me an opportunity to forms and idea though our past. Some of my works has influences by traditional Japanese ceramics.
